When I got referred to Mr Kim from my doctors I could hardly walk without being in excruciating pain in my right knee. After seeing Mr Kim he said I had a large degenerate tear of my medial meniscus and early signs of arthritis. I got very upset when Mr Kim told me this as I'm only 43, but he was very reassuring and explained everything to me which made me feel at ease. It's been 8 weeks since I had my operation and my knee feels fantastic I'm walking pain free. I definitely need to say a big thank you to Mr Kim, from start to end you have always given me reassuring care and would recommended him to anyone. Thank You Cheryl Howells

I was treated by Mr Kim at the Alexandra Hospital for ligament reconstruction surgery. His operation was successful and the neat work that he performed led to a barely visable scar. He explained everything clearly with everything he said turning out to be correct, including the recovery time, which despite my doubts turned out to be spot on. He made me completely at ease and confident that the job would be done efficiently,as it was.

Glen Mathews Age 40 I had been having pain in my left hip for a number of months after suffering an injury to my femur when I was 12 some 28 years ago. I went to see another consultant who said I needed a new hip and I really didn't feel comfortable with his approach so I wanted a second opinion and found Mr Kim through my healthcare provider. I left the consultation feeling totally assured that he was the person to carry out any surgery for me as ultimately due to age it would be likely I would need a revision in later..... Mr Kim suggested I had a cortisone injection into my left hip to help with pain and stiffness and this would be followed up by some physiotherapy to help to condition me for surgery a little further down the line. The day came for the procedure and I don't mind admitting I was apprehensive and anxious but Mr Kim visited me prior to the small procedure to reassure me. During the 20 minute procedure he talked me through all of the process and even injected some appropriate humour (pardon the pun). It's only a couple of days since the injection but to be honest it's made some improvement already and I'm hopeful that it will improve further in the next week or so. In a strange way I'm actually looking forward to getting my new hip and have no doubt it will be expertly fitted. Mr Kim is a really down to earth guy who listens and is very generous with his time. I would have absolutely no reservations in recommending Winston to anybody. Thanks for your support and help.
